Don’t have time to get out the smoker or fire up the grill for pork ribs? No problem – instant pot pork ribs are so easy and tasty. Season with your favorite rub, let your ribs cook in the instant pot for 25 minutes, finish them off in the oven, and let your friends tell you how awesome you are.
Ingredients
- 4 lb. Pork loin back ribs, membrane removed
- 1/2 C. All-purpose barbecue rub
- 1/2 C. Vegetable broth
- Barbecue sauce, as needed
Instructions
- For the Ribs: Season ribs with all-purpose barbecue rub
- Place trivet in Instant Pot, add seasoned ribs and vegetable broth
- Close lid with pressure vent closed, set to Meat/Stew. Let cook 25 minutes, then allow pressure to release naturally
- Preheat oven to 450ºF
- Open lid, remove ribs and place on foil-lined baking sheet
- Brush ribs on all sides with barbecue sauce and place in oven. Cook for 15 minutes or until tender
- To serve: Remove ribs from oven and slice into portions
