Seneca Valley Virus (SVV) is often a confusing virus in swine because the signs of its presence in a herd are nearly indistinguishable from devastating diseases such as foot-and-mouth, swine vesicular disease and others. That’s why the Swine Health Information Center (SHIC), in collaboration with the Pork Checkoff, the National Pork Pork Producers Council and the American Association of Swine Veterinarians, is presenting a new series of webinars on the Seneca Valley Virus for producers and veterinarians on May 16, 18 and 20 at 4 p.m. CDT each day.
