We are a respected organization, and we take seriously our commitment to pork producers and the trust they have placed in us. We conduct scientific research and work on important issues within the pork industry. As such, the tone of our messages should reflect the professionalism and authority of our organization.
Our messages should be honest and authentic. Sincerity is always appropriate. Puns and sarcasm are not.
That is not to say that our messages should be dry or boring. On the contrary, our tone of voice should be friendly and approachable. We are, after all, a trusted resource: a group of committed individuals helping those who are equally committed to, and dependent upon, the pork industry.
