Signature-Containing Shape

The Pork Checkoff brand has the advantage of strong corporate colors – black and orange, a combination that is especially effective when the logo is reversed out of black. For this reason, a signature-containing shape has been designed as a graphic element to create instant brand recognition for corporate communications. A black band containing the reversed logo is an element that will boldly identify Pork Checkoff communications. An orange bar is also part of the containing shape, providing a border between the black and the rest of the design.

The signature-containing shape is for use on corporate communications, from Web sites to printed collateral pieces. It can be positioned at the top of pieces such as PowerPoint presentations or newsletters, or it can appear on the bottom of materials such as brochures or forms.

Use the containing shape as shown; do not add any additional elements.

Front of Collateral
Location: In most cases, the containing shape will be located at the bottom of a printed piece or communication. When used in a Web site or as a masthead, it can be used at the top.
Logo: The Pork Checkoff logo should sit on the left side of the containing shape. The logo should be as large as possible while respecting the area of isolation.
Height: For most collateral sizes the height of the bar should be 1.0625" with a .0625" orange bar on top. For oversize pieces or where the bar is used at the top, such as a masthead, the height should be 1.5" with the orange bar staying at .0625".
