Carl Link of Fort Recovery, Ohio, oversees the management of pigs at Cooper Farms, a finish operation that markets 400,000 pigs annually. He also has oversight of the management of turkeys and egg layers at Cooper Farms.Nationally, Link is serving his first three-year term on the National Pork Board. Link also served as a Pork Act Delegate and is an Operation Main Street speaker.At the state level, he is member of the Ohio Pork Producers Council Demand Enhancement Committee and has served on the board of directors. He is a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, the National Turkey Federation, the United Egg Producers and the Ohio Turkey Marketing Board. Link represents the Ohio Pork Producers Council on the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s CAFO permitting program. He spent the last two years on the subcommittee developing the animal care standards for Ohio.
